Photography calms and moves people at the same time.  It evokes memories, stirs the urge to explore, contemplate and so much more.  A photograph doesn't say the same thing to all people, it's unique.  My goal is to capture images that capture the viewer.  I hope you enjoy my photographs.

Little kids, what can you say?  They haven't been worn down by the world yet, and you can see it in their command of their own environment.  Like our pets, only on a higher level, they usually get what they want.

Ah, the beach.  So many want to be there, so few get there when they need to, except for the ubiquitous gull.  Beautiful in flight, sometimes a nuisance on the ground.

These photos were taken at Fort Clinch,  a 19th-century brick fortress begun in 1847 after the end of the Second Seminole War, it's still mostly intact and is a blast to visit,  It's located in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
